These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of paradiselotto.com and the ticket verification services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Task Consolidated, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, or if your account has previously been suspended or terminated by us.
The Service allows users to verify cruise lottery tickets purchased aboard participating cruise lines. Paradise Lotto is a lottery operated aboard cruise vessels in international waters by participating cruise lines, with verification, prize processing, and recordkeeping coordinated by Task Consolidated, Inc.
Cruise lines are not sponsors of Paradise Lotto. Task Consolidated, Inc. is solely responsible for the verification and payment of prizes through the Service.
The Service is provided as a verification and informational tool. The official rules of the lottery, including prize amounts, drawing procedures, and claim requirements, are governed by the rules document for each participating cruise line. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the official lottery rules, the official rules govern with respect to the lottery itself.
You may create an account to track your ticket submissions and receive status updates. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information current. You agree not to create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or impersonate another person.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
You may submit a ticket for verification by entering the game ID and numbers from your physical ticket through the Service. The Service compares your submission against winning numbers provided to us by the participating cruise lines.
A successful match through the Service is preliminary verification only. To claim any prize, you must follow the complete claim process specified in the official rules for your cruise line, which generally includes mailing the original physical ticket and, for prizes above certain amounts, providing a copy of valid government-issued identification.
We are not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or altered tickets. The original physical ticket is required for prize payment.
Winning tickets must be redeemed within ninety (90) days of the applicable draw date. After this period, tickets expire and prizes can no longer be claimed.
Winning tickets for the progressive jackpot are subject to a seven (7) day authentication period. All prizes are paid to the bearer of the original physical ticket.
We reserve the right to reject any ticket submission that we believe is fraudulent, altered, or otherwise invalid. Disputes regarding ticket verification are resolved according to the official lottery rules.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information; (c) attempt to verify tickets that you do not legitimately own; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security; (e) use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent; (f) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service; (g) impersonate any person or entity; or (h) collect or harvest information about other users.
We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates this section, including removal of the offending content, suspension of accounts, and reporting to law enforcement authorities.
The Service, including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content, is owned by Task Consolidated, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. This license does not include any right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service.
Cruise line names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components.
Verification results provided through the Service are based on winning number data provided to us by participating cruise lines and on the information you submit. We are not responsible for errors in source data, and ticket verification through the Service does not guarantee prize payment, which requires submission of the original physical ticket and compliance with the full claim process.
In the event of operator error or omission regarding the entry or posting of winning numbers, only the actual balls drawn during the relevant drawing will determine winning tickets.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL TASK CONSOLIDATED, INC., ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT WILL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT, IF ANY, PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT APPLY TO PRIZE PAYMENTS OWED TO YOU UNDER VALIDLY VERIFIED WINNING TICKETS, WHICH ARE GOVERNED BY THE OFFICIAL LOTTERY RULES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Task Consolidated, Inc., its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
The cruise lottery itself is operated aboard cruise vessels in international waters and is subject to the rules and procedures established by Task Consolidated, Inc. and the participating cruise lines. Disputes regarding lottery operations or prize claims are governed by those rules.
You agree that any cause of action arising out of or related to the Service must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, otherwise it is permanently barred.
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service or by email.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and the official lottery rules for each participating cruise line, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at our discretion.
